I was asked to redesign the website for Africa's largest distance learning college. My role was both client-facing and hands-on design, defining the project requirements with the client and then project managing the redesign based on key milestones. The redesign involved revising the information architecture and user flow, then redesigning the templates and iterating based on feedback.
My first step was to work with key stakeholders and the marketing team to get a clear set of requirements and user journeys. Based on this information, I worked on wireframes and mockups which we presented to the client and potential users for feedback. Once the mockups were approved, I worked with an off-shore software development team to build the website and custom functionality.
